Brief History Our history began with Manuel Corrales Tubau, when he was appointed he became master tuner of the Ortiz i Cussó piano factory in Barcelona. In 1916, the famous pianist Arthur Rubinstein requested his technical services and asked him to accompany him whenever he was on tour. Ortiz i Cussó Piano Factory   Similary he was usually requested by the renown composer Enric Granados; and many other composers like Zamacois, Malats, Ribó, Marschall... became part of his beloved task. In 1941 he set up a piano repair and tuning shop, at nº 460 Còrsega St, in Barcelona. Later, his son Raimon Corrales Rovira (1921-1982), and his grandson Joan Manuel Corrales Ricol joined him, making it possible, not only to continue with the repair shop but also to create a new shop, dedicated exclusively to selling pianos. In 2000, Joan Manuel Corrales Ricol together with his three children Ester, Sandra and Raimon, opened a new shop displaying a wide selection of grand pianos.
